What can I expect from Tales of Middle-Earth?

All your favourite characters are here, and not just once, but in multiple representations that capture their own journeys through Middle-earth.

This wide-ranging Universes Beyond release features products for however you want to venture to Mount Doom and back again, from Starter Kits and Jumpstart, to Set, Draft, and Collector Boosters. There will be Prerelease Packs and Bundles, and four Commander Decks: Riders of Rohan, Food and Fellowship, Elven Council and The Hosts of Mordor.

The cards will be legal in Modern, Commander and the Eternal Formats, as well as playable in both Draft and Sealed, enabling you to curate your own fantastical Middle-earth experience.

And if all of that weren’t enough, the set will feature one of the rarest Magic cards ever printed – a serialised 1/1 version of The One Ring, printed in the Black Speech of Sauron. The Rings of Power are here too, depicted on serialised Sol Rings with versions for mortal men, Dwarves and Elves.

Each Draft, Set, and Collector Booster pack also includes a foil ‘Realms and Relics’ Box Topper cards, a. classic Magic card with new Lord of the Rings flavour artwork, including versions of The Great Henge and Wasteland.

Finally, there are the card styles – beautiful full art ‘map’ lands of the most famous locations, showcase ring treatments depicting epic moments on legends, and even borderless scene cards featuring iconic scenes split among multiple cards.

Previews have already begun, and the complete card gallery will be published on 9 June, with the tabletop release on 23 June.
