ROYAL MAIL STRIKES
Strike action is planned for the two days before Christmas. Fri 23/12, Sat 24/12.
When you receive an email confirming your order has been dispatched. Your order is completed. Business post is sent directly to the regional distribution hubs while there is a substantial backlog. This means parcels are not getting scanned on time or correctly at the start of their forward journey.
There are delays with the backlog of letters/parcels to be shipped. Royal Mail does not schedule additional collections following strikes. They will collect as many parcels as possible.
Royal Mail plans to deliver as many Special Delivery and Tracked 24 parcels as possible, but expect significant delays.
WE WILL NOT get collections on strike days.
WE WILL NOT get deliveries on strike days.
Special Delivery letters and parcels are not covered by the usual delivery guarantee during this time.

If your shipping choice comes with tracking:
Tracking references are generated once an order is complete.
Royal Mail are not scanning parcels every step of the way. They are forgoing at least the first label scan in order for parcels to be sent on to sorting hubs ASAP.
Your first scan is likely to be one of these hubs, within approximately 1-3 days.
Will my pre-order be delayed?
There's a chance your pre-order may be delayed with the additional parcels DPD are now delivering and the strikes at Royal Mail. We are factoring in the delays and doing everything we can.
Delays are something no one wants. Please remember, our customer service staff are friendly gamers like yourself, so do not shout at or harass them.
