Mega DREAM ex is an upcoming Pokémon TCG set that will be released in Japan at the end of this month. Cards from the set should be making their way over to the UK in January. Today, we got some exciting new previews for some mega DREAM ex cards. Without further ado, let’s drive straight into the spoilers…
Mega Eelektross ex
Pokémon Legends Z-A gave Eelektross a brand new mega form, and now the world’s most high voltage eel is bringing that power into the TCG. Mega Eelektross is even leaner and meaner than its base form, and this shocking new artwork demonstrates all of that highly charged power.
New artwork for Mega Gengar ex
Mega Gengar ex is one of the stars of the upcoming Phantasmal Flames set. In this new art treatment, Gengar is looking more mischievous than ever, giving off some truly sinister side-eyes.
Dratini and Dragonair
Mega Dragonite ex is the mascot of MEGA Dream ex, just look at the booster packs. So the set was always bound to feature Dratini and Dragonair as well. Dratini starts off as a sweet little dragon resting softly on the surface of the water, before evolving into Dragonair, and charging up the waterfall running gently behind it. A cute little character arc in two cards.
Dreepy and Drakloak
Dragapult ex, from Twilight Masquerade, is one of the most threatening cards in the current Pokémon TCG meta. For players who want to evolve into their biggest threat in style, the Pokémon Company are printing this Illustration Rare Dreepy and Drakloak. This art looks soft and comforting, like it has glided straight out of the pages of a colourful children’s picture book.
Marnie’s Grimmsnarl ex
Marnie's Grimmsnarl ex, from Destined Rivals, is yet another powerhouse of a Pokémon card. In this new treatment, we can see Marnie stepping up to the plate alongside her heaviest hitters. You don’t have to be a member of Team Yell to appreciate that this art does a great job of showcasing the power of Marnie and her ace monster.
