This March, the new Perfect Order expansion for the Pokémon TCG will release. Until today, very little information was available about this set, but now that has all changed as we've gotten our first look at Perfect Order and the Pokémon cards it contains.
Let's dig in...
Zygarde and Meowth leading the charge!
Mega Zygarde ex is the face of Perfect Order. This legendary cellular dragon is the "Order" Pokémon after all, so the expansion is named after them.
Zygarde's hand is reaching right out of the frame, showcasing the earthshaking power that they can command.
Our next Pokémon may not be a legendary dragon, but they're definitely a big name. Having been the loyal lackey of Team Rocket since the nineties, Meowth needs no introduction.
The ex printing of Meowth that shows up in Perfect Order is making a similar motion to Zygarde, attempting to reach its paw right out of the frame. While Zygarde commands power and authority, Meowth achieves a much more comical vibe.
A Tyrunt for Elite Trainers
Unsurprisingly, Elite Trainer Boxes from Perfect Order feature Zygarde prominently on their packaging. The art here really emphasises the massive cannon it carries around at all times with its six arms.
If you crack open one of these Elite Trainer Boxes, inside you'll find a Tyrunt promo. This fossil Pokémon from generation 6 is as angry as it is adorable. It won't stay small like this forever, as it evolves into the formidable Tyrantrum.
Blister packs for days
Perfect Order has an exciting variety of different blister packs. Here we can see a selection of two that offer the entire evolutionary lines of the partner Pokémon, Cinderace and Meganium.
You can also grab blisters featuring Clawitzer, Steelix, and their pre-evolved forms if you're a fan of either weaponised shellfish or giant metallic serpents.
Chikorita fans are getting a lot to look forward to in this expansion, as not only is there a blister featuring Meganium, but you can grab another copy of the base form with this Chikorita Blister Collection.
Finally, this Makuhita blister pack contains a promo offering a close up snapshot of the tiny yellow sumo Pokémon, along with the same Snorlax coin present in all of the others.
A Perfect Order preview
This is just our first glance into the new world of Perfect Order. The set is still two months away, and there are sure to be plenty more previews to come.
