While we usually focus on new sets and collections coming out, today we want to catch some time to dive into the Team Rocket Collector’s Tins that are coming out in just a few days. These tins will be a great tribute to some of the most iconic Pokémon belonging to the villain trainers of Team Rocket and they will be filled with Booster Packs and amazing cards. With the summer being almost over, all Pokémon fans are gearing up for the latest amazing releases of 2025. Are you ready to blast off?

What’s in the Pokémon Fall 2025 Tins

As usual, the themed tins will be released in two different formats, 3” and 7” and they will both feature a small clear window to display the promo card inside. The two sizes for the Pokémon fall tins are regional with the larger tins being the common US edition and the smaller one being the one you should be able to source in the UK and in general in the EU. In both cases, the tins will include a promo and a code card although the larger tin format will come with five Booster packs instead of four.

Together with two different sizes, there will be three unique tins based on the Promo card they will feature: Mewtwo ex, Nidoking ex, Persian ex. The artwork on the tin lid is designed to match the Promo card with the featured Pokémon showing as a black shadow with red contours together with the nefarious logo of the Team Rocket. Obviously, the art on the bigger US tins is larger as well as the window on them that is big enough to show the full promo card including the attack details and not just the Pokémon as you can see on the smaller UK tins.

In terms of content, the tins will come with 4 or 5 booster packs, depending on which tin you are going to purchase. There is currently no confirmation on which set the packs will come from although the official site mentioned they will all come from a Scarlet and Violet set. Considering the theme of the Tins, it is highly likely at least one pack will be from Destined Rivals and there is a possibility Journey Together will also be featured in among the four/five packs of the Tin. Personally, I think it is more likely the Packs will come from older sets like Temporal Forces or even Obsidian Flames but we will know very soon as the Tins are scheduled to be released on the 5th of September. Both Tins are planned to be released together with the RRP of the European one sitting on £18.99, and the 7" tins expected to be £29.99. As usual, pre-ordering at Magic Madhouse will be the best way to secure your Pokémon fall tin at a very good price and catch the opportunity to have them delivered on the day of the release directly to your doorstep for free (if your order is over £30).

What to Expect Inside Each Tin

I know it may be obvious but the first thing to expect in this Tins is Trouble. And you can make it double (or triple in this case) considering these Tins feature the Pokémon from the Team Rocket. Even if they are the villains in manga and anime series, all the fans love the main Characters from this evil corporation. Among them, Jesse, James and Meowth (and Wobbuffet of course!) hold a special place in everyone's heart but we cannot forget how Giovanni, his four Executives and Mewtwo are amazing and charismatic.

Together with a strong sense of nostalgia, the team Rocket holds a very special place in the heart of all Pokémon players also because it has been more than 20 years since the Pokémon company dedicated a set to them. When Destined Rivals was released earlier in the year, everyone was super excited to finally have a chance to play again with cards featuring Team Rocket Pokémon and having now a set of Tins dedicated to this theme is just the cherry on top. I think it should be worth collecting these products just because of the artwork and the theme alone without even considering the Booster packs and the Promo cards.

The Promo cards included in each Tin in particular have been confirmed to be Alternate Art Promo versions of Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex, Team Rocket's Nidoking ex or Team Rocket's Persian ex that have not been released in Japan yet. All these are not only very iconic Pokémon but they have a good gameplay value. Mewtwo ex is by far the most captivating not only because of how amazing is the artwork of this card but also because you can easily build a Team Rocket themed deck around Mewtwo. The powerhouse Nidoking ex is my second favourite card from this set and a very flexible card that can be added to a few decks to cause some headaches to your opponents.

Where to Pre-Order Pokémon Tins in the UK

Whether you're a nostalgic fan of Jessie, James, and Meowth's Evil Corporation or a collector chasing the new Team Rocket's themed cards and products, each of the new fall 2025 Pokémon tin is packed with great treasures and amazing artworks. To get them, however, you may need a cunning and strategic plan as these types of products are known to be in high demand and to sell pretty fast. As usual, we recommend to pre-order them from Magic Madhouse website to avoid issues and to be sure to get them right away on the release day together with buying them at a discounted price and with free shipment for orders over £30. However, if you haven't managed to pre-order them in time, you can still sign-up to be notified when more stock will be available. Pokémon TCG tins are very collectible products and they are usually supplied in a few waves towards the end of the year thus being notified when they are back in stock will give everyone a chance to collect 'em all!
