Rares And Must-Have Cards, And The Best Cards For Collectors
As you can see, this set is absolutely stacked with classics. Just among the Nostalgia pool are some of the top-performing cards of all time, like Maxx “C”, Astrograph Sorcerer, and Fire Formation – Tenki.
There’s also support for some beloved archetypes. Madolche gets four of its prime cards here to give your opponent a delicious run for their money, Blue-Eyes has numerous alternate art treatments, the Nostalgia pool is packed with Number, and even Inzektor, Shadoll, and D/D/D are here to help kickstart your top of the meta deck.
Of course, if you’re more into collecting than playing, there’s still plenty to love here. There a three tiers of secret rare, with the regular Secret Rare being joined by Quarter Century Secret Rare for its final outing, and the Platinum Secret Rare, which puts a platinum-coloured textured foiling over the card.
Every card in the Nostalgia pool can be found in both Quarter Century and Platinum rare treatments, and so it’s this group that is going to be the big, chase cards for collectors. As this is also the last chance to get any Quarter Century Secret rares, it’s likely that sealed product for the set will also hit a premium once it’s no longer on sale.
Easily the most sought-after cards from Quarter Century Stampede are going to be those Quarter Century Secret Rares and Platinum Rares, as they’re this is the only place you’ll be able to find them.
Particularly worth keeping an eye on are the exclusive art treatments for:
- Dark Magician
- Dark Magician Girl
- Blue-Eyes White Dragon
- Red-Eyes Black Dragon
- Tour Guide From The Underworld
- El Shaddoll Construct
While these are among the most-reprinted cards in Yu-Gi-Oh!’s history, all of them have meta relevance and, with exclusive new art and last-chance foil treatments, will likely fetch a pretty penny if you manage to pull them.
Competitive Impact – Will This Set Change The Meta?
As Quarter Century Stampede is a reprint set, there’s nothing here that’s new a poised to shake up the meta of Yu-Gi-Oh!
That being said, if you’re still playing more casually and want to make the jump to the next level, there are more than enough cards here to start your own meta build – this set may not give us a new top deck, but it could be what you need to tear it up at your locals!
Where To Buy Yu-Gi-Oh! Quarter Century Stampede
Of course, the best place to buy Quarter Century Stampede is through Magic Madhouse.
Launching on April 10, you can order your individual boosters of the set, which include five cards. Alternatively, if you want to go big, you could pick up an entire booster box, which includes 24 packs for a guaranteed 24 Quarter Century or Platinum rare!

With reprints of classics, the final chance to get one of the most popular rarity types, and guaranteed secret rares in every pack, this is one any Yu-Gi-Oh! fan is going to want to hop on to before it’s gone forever.
