Mice of Legend: OSR - Perils of Portal Lake Setting Guide

Mice of Legend is a complete campaign setting where existing adventurers are transformed into mice and drawn into a deadly mouse-sized realm. If they are lucky, they may survive long enough to recover the legendary Stellar Keystone and find their way home again.

Unlike most mouse-themed RPG settings, players do not create mouse characters. Instead, they bring their existing adventurers into Portal Lake, a world of dangerous predators, ancient mysteries, forgotten ruins, rival factions, and wilderness exploration where every journey feels larger than life.

Everyday creatures become legendary threats. A cat is a terror. An owl is a deadly aerial hunter. A river becomes a major expedition. Survival depends on ingenuity, exploration, and old-school problem solving rather than brute force.
