Traditional Japanese festivities and sixteen new travelers are now part of the wonderful Tokaido journey, with these matsuri (the Japanese word for "festival") being triggered by the arrival of the travelers at the intermediate inns, punctuating the path with new and unique events. Matsuri is a Tokaido expansion that brings new cards and tokens to the game.
