The world after the Conjunction of the Spheres is full of terrifying beasts. No one who finds themseves on the trail alone can feel safe. Lurking drowners, ghouls swarming near cemeteries, or shrieking harpies diving through the air are just a small number of the threats awaiting the unwary...
Monster Trail brings another level of depth to different aspects of The Witcher: Old World. Trailing and fighting monsters, building your deck, using bombs, taking advantage of mutagens, and adding special cards to your starting decks are all augmented by this expansion.
Contains a playable School of the Manticore Witcher, advanced action cards, and seventeen large monster cards, one for each of the Old World's beasts. These cards add an advanced special ability for the monster and four characteristic attacks.
This expansion also introduces Special Combat Cards. Before fighting a monster, shuffle two, three or four randomly into its Life Pool (depending on the monster's level). Thanks to these cards, fighting a werewolf will be a completely different experience to facing a foglet hiding wreathed in mists and illusions. Even fights with the same monster will be unique due to the randomised nature of the additional cards.
