Rayquaza Rules the Sky in the New Pokémon TCG expansion Delta Reign

There has been a lot of hype about the Pokémon TCG's 30th Anniversary Celebration expansion, but until today, nobody knew what was coming next. Well, now the clouds have parted, Rayquaza descended, and the Pokémon Company gave us a preview of what's waiting in November.... Delta Reign, a sky shattering new expansion for the Pokémon TCG.

Well, now the clouds have parted, Rayquaza descended, and the Pokémon Company gave us a preview of what's waiting in November.... Delta Reign, a sky shattering new expansion for the Pokémon TCG.
Rayquaza Reigns Supreme
In a video that was recently uploaded to the Official Pokémon YouTube Channel, the world got its first preview of Delta Reign.
The trailer focuses on Rayquaza, the Sky High Pokémon from generation three. We're shown the Legendary dragon tearing through the clouds and achieving its mega form. There's a preview of the art for an upcoming Mega Rayquaza ex card, but the Pokémon Company is keeping quiet and not showing us anything further, not even the card's attacks.
Delta Stream is the ability of Mega Rayquaza from the Pokémon games, which possesses the power to turn off weather effects and nullify the weaknesses of flying type Pokémon. It seems like this iconic technique is the origin of the set's name.
It's clear that Rayquaza will be the protagonist of Delta Reign, just as Greninja is the star of Chaos Rising and Dragonite serves as the mascot of Ascended Heroes.
A new Rayquaza themed expansion entitled "Ruler of the Skies" was also announced in the same trailer for the Pokémon TCG Pocket mobile game.
Delta Reigning Supreme
Delta Reign's release remains five months away, and we'll learn more about it as time passes. Will Kyogre and Grodon join Rayquazza in this set? Will we see Mega Pidgeot or any other powerful mega fliers? Just what will Rayquaza's attacks do? We will have to wait and see.
