Running on the second edition game engine, this standalone core set takes you on a brand-new adventure deep into the twisted landscape beyond the Dark Castle - adding new Fear and Darkness mechanics to the classic gameplay of its predecessor.
The goal of the game remains the same as for the other games of the Escape the Dark series: The players must complete every chapter in the deck, then defeat the final boss. To win, every member of the team must remain alive - if any player is killed the game ends immediately.
