The Relics expansion introduces a brand new tile-type: Smaller and diamond-shaped, they are a third of the size of a regular hexagon tile. Players can exchange discovered relic pieces, but once at least two of the three pieces of a relic are obtained, they are locked and can no longer be traded. When put together, they form the full hexagon of a completed relic. They also unlock a new way of scoring for the assembling player!
